Mae moved back to Vermont in 2023 after spending her senior year as an exchange student at Middlebury College ten years prior, where she discovered her love for farmwork on the campus’ farm. Since then she has worked in local government mainly in New York City for parks, city planning and affordable housing but returned to her love of agriculture by working in farms in NYC, the West Coast and most recently in Vermont, as a crew member at Maple Wind Farm and then farm manager at Champlain Valley Hops. Mae has a BA in Geography and a MA in Local Planning and Development from Paris Diderot University in Paris, France.
