Whetstone Watershed Invasive Species Mapping Intiative
The Southeast Vermont Cooperative Invasive Species Management Association (SEVT CISMA) completed phase one of mapping terrestrial invasive plants growing within the Whetstone Brook watershed as part of our Protecting Whetstone Brook Riparian Zones: Mapping, Planning, and Outreach Project. We’ve worked with residents within the Whetstone Brook watershed to record and map invasive plants using iNaturalist (https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/whetstone-brook-invasive-plants).
We’re held a webinar in January of 2024 to share the results of this project and discuss next steps. You can view a recording of that webinar here.
