Birding on the Farm Series
We're once again asking you to come birding with us...
Are you an avid birder? Maybe interested about the farms in your communities? Well good news! Windham County along with our partners have created a fantastic series of workshops called, "Birding on the Farm".
And if you're still following along, you probably might have guessed where these events are held! Yes, the lovely farms in our communities that support our food systems graciously make time and space for interested participants to explore the farm while learning about habitat dynamics between birds and the farm as well as the conservation work happening!
And if you're a little rusty or even new to the bird world, don't worry! We assemble a very convincing and capable group of bird guides each time that will help identify avian friends and answer any questions you may have!
We hope to see you at one of the Birding on the Farm workshops! To register check out some of the event pages below as well as the suggested items you may need!
Suggested items:
- Binoculars (extra pairs may be available)
- Weather appropiate clothing (including boots in the event of muddy conditions)
