Forestry Practices to Support Breeding Birds Workshop

Please join the Windham Regional Woodlands Association, the Southeastern Vermont Audubon Society and the Windham County Natural Resources Conservation District for a morning birding walk in Halifax. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about forestry practices that can help support breeding bird populations and sources of financial and technical assistance to support implementation of these practices on their own land. Plus, we’ll hopefully see and hear interesting birds, as early June is the heart of breeding season in Vermont’s forests.

Sunday, June 2nd – 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM. Wear comfortable shoes you can walk in and bring binoculars if you have them. SVAS will have a few pairs available for use. Advanced registration required and space limited to provide a good experience for all attendees. Registration available here: https://forms.gle/hHNRP252KoWHBEjL7
